Miles and Experiences

Long Long ago, twenty years ago, there lived a motorcycle (aka bike, CD-100SS). It used to lead a boring life in the showroom. After many days of waiting, a gentleman in his mid-thirties found it and want to bring him home. The bike was pleased knowing that he got a new family and master.  The gentleman considered a motorcycle as a second son, while the motorcycle considered him a true master.

0 Km – 200 Km

The gentleman rode 75 Km to get him home and introduced him to the family. The innocent first son of the gentleman, aged ten years, was very fond of CD100SS. The young son waited for three months to find a good time to ask his gentleman-father to ride. The father took his son and made him balance the vehicle. In the early metamorphosis stage, the innocent lad could not balance the bike with two legs. His hopes to ride the  CD-100SS crashed down as he could see another two legs of his father approaching him while falling on his left side. This incident left a mark on an innocent son's tender heart and the tail lights of CD-100SS.

The gentleman-father immediately lifted his second son (CD-100SS) with the utmost care and took him to the service station, and asked to clear the scratches.

Learning: Know your strengths first before you ask something big

1000 km

Like a late 80's Tollywood movie, the time has passed quickly as we zoom in to the rotations of CD-100SS wheels. The young son, now aged 13 years, learned how to drive the vehicle, decided to go for a jolly ride. He didn't know that to have fun, he also needs money in his pocket to feed the guzzling engine in the form of fuel. Seeing the furious steam coming out of his friend's eyes while pushing the vehicle for four long kilometers, he decided never to jump off the wall and escape from the town.

He then understood the next day that the bike loves the gentleman-father and hates him. By turning the fuel valve to Reserve, his father could start and went away in seconds.

Learning: Know the reserve valve, which would help you in difficult times.

5000 Km

Fast forward, the prodigal son, aged 15 years, studying 10th Class, understood how much the bike hated him. When he is seriously trying to win the match for his team, while trying to defend the last wicket and score four runs in the last ball, saw his father watching him thoughtfully. Prodigal son missed to calculate the length and line of the ball and goes clean bold.

He was not so unhappy about missing the ball but not hearing the sound of the engine CD-100SS (dr..dr..dug, dug, dr… dr.. Dugg……. Dug………). He then understood that the bike must have intentionally stopped giving sound to catch him red-handed playing cricket with a paper ball and exam pad within the four walls of the tuition room.

Learning: Always's don't expect  thunderstorms before heavy rain

More miles to go; stay tuned…………………
